My sitemate and I will be COSing in May, and we have two Peace Corps Legacy cats to pass on. We're the third volunteers to have had them, and they're originally from a small mountain village in the Rif (Tafoughalt), not far from our site, Berkane.
We've had Mina and Anton (named after the first volunteers who had them) for all two years of our service, and it will be hard to leave them! Mina is the chubby calico (no, she's not pregnant) and she's got a bit of an attitude but is very cuddly, especially in the winter. Anton is orange-stripey with blue eyes and is the MOST affectionate cat you've ever met. Both are very calm and laid-back, don't scratch furniture much, and we're guessing are about 5 years old. They are both spade/neutered and have all of the shots that they would require in the US. They've had no significant health problems while we've had them. We would love to take them back with us but we don't know where we'll be in the US.... so we hope there'll be another loving PCV who wants them.
